Fallen behind

Yikes, it's been two months?!  Sorry about falling behind like this on my blog (don't feel too bad, my painting project fell behind as well so you haven't missed much).  We will be getting started on both again this weekend.

Started painting

Today we started painting.  I have learned that I really need to stir the paint better (it ended up looking more like a white wash than off white paint), but I have the next two days to do more painting so...

 

Home project

My family's home is a trailer from the 1960's or 1970's.  I'm not thrilled about living in a trailer, but it's a home at least, plus I can't ask for a more beautiful back yard than Yosemite.  One of my projects this year will be fixing my home up room by room (one room a month).  I will be starting in the laundry room area because that's the room that also doubles as our craft room so it will be getting much use.  My ultimate goal is for someone to drive up to my house and say "That's a 40+ year old trailer?  No way!  It's too beautiful to be a trailer (or that old)!"
